Sheen Farmers TOWC Open Competition Results 12/05/2024
This week, Sheen held their annual open outdoor competition in the Peak District with the following clubs taking part:
Men – Sheen, Upper Eden (A and B), Bosley, Holland with Upper Eden ladies also competing in the 600kg competition.
Ladies/Junior – Upper Eden, Ashbourne, Belper, Bosley, Sheen, Holland
Even with the recent dry weather, the ground was still soft which cut up well and made for a lot of competitive pulling, albeit a little endy with a fair few matches going 1-1 throughout the day.
The final results were as follows:
Catchweight – winners – Upper Eden – runners up – Sheen
600 – winners – Bosley – runners up – Upper Eden B
680 – winners – Upper Eden A – runners up – Sheen
640 – winners – Upper Eden A – runners up – Bosley
Mixed 580 – winners – Bosley – runners up – Upper Eden A
Ladies/junior 560 – winners – Upper Eden – runners up – Bosley
Ladies/junior 520 – winners – Bosley – runners up – Upper Eden
Ladies/junior 540 – winners – Bosley – runners up – Holland
