Daventry Open Competition 2019 Results

 This Sunday, the annual tug of war event that takes place at Daventry, Northamptonshire was held, organised by Len Hall with the support of the TOWA Midland Area. Photo: Lincoln TOWC

The first weight of the day was the mens catchweight competition, pulled as a straight group with no final, so the winners of the group would win the competition. The mens 680kg competition was again run as a straight points competition with no final. This time Norton finished in the top spot with Felton Eccles again finishing as the runners up. Photo: Norton

The mens 600kg competition was split into two groups with the top team in each group progressing to the final. Norton were the winners of Group 1 and Felton Eccles were the winners of group 2.
